What tools and experience should every student use/have? Group #1 Access to internet for research BSNTube What happens if they don't have netbook with them. Forgotter/Broken/No Power New to distrcit, do they know how to use the technology. Saving and then finding work. (Flash Drives/F Drive Plagerism Issues Internet Blocking sites Updates that happen to their netbooks (Adobe, Shockwaves, etc.)
Group #2 How to use basic microsoft package How netbooks work Discriminatory research skills Know how to login and remember passwords Role of computer during lectures etc.
Group #3 Orientation to using different pieces if equiptment Do we need a technology learining target is each course? Do they all need to have office (if they are using own laptop) Non-district laptops, are they supported (even software) Should they are be required to have the same office package? Tools and means to access the information for the class. Can we require everystudent to do somethig like Skype? How do we find out what technology experiences each student comes to us with? What about the few students who Opt out of this technology.
